Five-year-old English setter “Maggie” hunts pheasants from her home state of Michigan to “The Pheasant Capital” of South Dakota. Pheasants Forever member Jim Howe’s hunting companion, Maggie has also been a guide dog for Pheasants Forever youth and hunter introduction events. From Frankenmuth, Michigan, Howe has been a Pheasants Forever member for more than 30 years and supports his local Saginaw County Chapter of Pheasants Forever.
