Upland Habitat Strategies and Secrets Revealed at Pheasant Fest Stage

6fa06cea-5053-4191-b7fa-024a7dddc98c HABITAT STAGE SESSIONS ANNOUNCED FOR NATIONAL PHEASANT FEST & QUAIL CLASSIC TO HELP LANDOWNERS MEET THEIR UPLAND HABITAT GOALS

By Tom Carpenter

Every serious uplander knows that habitat is key to everything. But it’s still easy to ignore the intricacies and inside-angles that biologists and game managers use to improve the landscape for upland wildlife …including, of course, ring-necked pheasants and bobwhite quail.

That’s why the Habitat Stage at 2018 National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic is going to be one popular place when the show comes to the Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois, February 22-24. This year, the stage is being supported by key Pheasants Forever / Quail Forever conservation partners Polaris, Scag Power Equipment, the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Farm Service Agency (FSA).

In addition to all the engaging sessions on the habitat stage, landowners can consult with PF and QF biologists and receive a free conservation plan specific to their property. Sit down with a professional wildlife biologist and come away with a free wildlife habitat management plan for your acres, along with recommendations on financial and technical programs available to help accomplish them. Discover free habitat plan details here

Come for the free habitat plan, stay for a few seminars! The complete habitat stage schedule follows.
