Looking for a delicious and surprisingly easy way to get your family to love your pheasant?  With just a little bit of preparation you can make Deep Fried Pheasant Sandwiches that rival even the best selling fast food chains “chicken sandwiches” or just serve it with dipping sauce for great finger food!


Recipe: Chicken Fired Pheasant

Meat Block:
Boneless skinless pheasant

Ingredients:
Egg
Flour
Bloody Mary Wing Shake 

Instructions:
  1. Beat eggs in a bowl until the egg yolk and white are thoroughly mixed
  2. Mix desired amount of seasoning with flour
  3. Coat pheasant breast in egg
  4. Coat pheasant breast in flour (repeat for once for best results)
  5. Heat vegetable or peanut oil in a cast iron skillet to 350°
  6. Submerge pheasant breast in oil and cook until internal temp is 165° (pheasant will start to float when close to done)
  7. Rest on metal rack to allow the excess oil to drip off, this will keep your pheasant nice and crispy
  8. Top with desired veggies, sliced cheese and condiments for delicious sandwiches or serve on its own with dipping sauces
