Pheasants Forever, Inc. (PF), with support of the US Forest Service, is seeking bids for forestry mulching to reclaim overgrown wildlife openings (fields). The project area is within 4 miles of Jamestown, SC on the Francis Marion National Forest. The project area consists overgrown woody vegetation (sweetgums, pines, oaks, etc.). Requesting services of a forestry mulcher to remove all woody vegetation to ground level and stumps mulched up to 2” below ground level. These wildlife openings are being restored under the National Wild Turkey Super Fund implemented by PF in partnership with US Forest Service.
