Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever Appoint Chance Webb as Southern Illinois Regional Rep

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are proud to announce the hiring of Chance Webb as a regional representative in southern Illinois. In his new role, Webb will provide support for dedicated members and volunteers throughout the state’s southern region, working closely with local chapters to improve public and private lands conservation efforts for pheasants, quail, and other wildlife.

"The state of Illinois contains some of the organization's strongest chapters, most dedicated volunteers, and robust public-private partnerships making a significant impact for wildlife habitat conservation," said Matt Christensen, field services manager for Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever. "We're excited to have Chance Webb leading our efforts in southern Illinois and look forward to seeing his ambitious goals for the organization come to life in The Prairie State."

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever empower county and local chapters with the responsibility to determine how 100 percent of their locally raised conservation funds will be spent - the only national conservation organization that operates through this grassroots structure. As a result, chapter volunteers can see the fruits of their efforts locally, while belonging to a larger national organization with a voice on federal and state conservation policy. Webb will be responsible for helping chapters achieve local conservation results, helping fulfill organizational pillars for habitat, education, access, and advocacy.

Webb experienced a unique entry to the world of upland hunting and conservation as an adult-onset hunter. Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, he had no prior exposure to the hunting and conservation lifestyle until meeting and marrying his significant other who grew up on a western Iowa farm. Since a 2016 introduction to hunting through the Calhoun County Chapter of Pheasants Forever in Iowa, Webb has transformed into an avid bird hunter, dog owner, and Pheasants Forever member with a passion to introduce other newcomers to sporting traditions.

Prior to his hiring, Webb was employed as a sales executive with INFUSEmedia where he collaborated closely with multiple departments to ensure a smooth client onboarding process and seamless execution of campaign projects. His professional career includes more than 13 years of sales experience with various companies.

“I’ve personally navigated the world of hunting and conservation as a latecomer and know how daunting it can be to get started, while understanding the challenges newcomers face,” stated Webb. “I am thrilled to begin working with Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever volunteers to continue making a positive impact for conservation and the lives of those I have the privilege to connect with.”
