Pheasants Forever Names Chad Bloom as Youth Fundraising Manager

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever announce Chad Bloom as the organization’s Youth Fundraising Manager, a new position that emphasizes the importance the organization places on educating and engaging the next generation of outdoor leaders and upland conservationists. Bloom, who has been with Pheasants Forever since 2011, will work to cultivate sponsors, donors, grantors, and partners to help fund the nonprofit conservation group’s youth programs.

“With his experience with Pheasants Forever and his sales and customer service background, Chad will be excellent in this position. He carries a passion for our youth programs and is excited to have a larger role in our No Child Left Indoors® initiative,” explained Cheryl Riley, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever’s vice president of education and outreach. “Pheasants Forever is a leader in youth outreach, and I know he is going to help grow our efforts to foster the next generation of hunters, shooters, and conservationists.”

“I'm looking forward to sharing how Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are connecting young people and families to the landscape, creating a conservation ethic, generating enthusiasm for shooting sports, and rekindling our country’s hunting heritage through our youth initiatives,” stated Bloom. “I am excited to translate interest in the Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever story and youth initiatives into new partnerships and sponsorships that will provide even more outdoor opportunities for our chapters, kids, and families.”

Bloom, a graduate of St. Cloud State University, worked in real estate, financial services, and sales before joining Pheasants Forever in 2011 as the organization’s regional representative for southern Minnesota. Additionally, Bloom has been an active Pheasants Forever volunteer since 2005, having served as a youth hunt mentor, banquet co-chair, and chapter president. Bloom will work from the organization’s headquarters in St. Paul and his home in Mayer, Minn., and can be contacted at (320) 292-4771 / email.
