Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are pleased to announce the appointment of Douglas Spale of Kansas City, Missouri, to its National Board of Directors. Spale, a federal attorney and avid bird hunter who devotes multiple weeks each fall in pursuit of upland birds and waterfowl, joins a 15-member board which meets quarterly and oversees the operations of Pheasants Forever, Inc. and Quail Forever.

In a first-of-its-kind hiring for the nation’s leading upland habitat conservation organizations, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are pleased to announce the appointment of Brent Rudolph as Director of Sustainability Partnerships.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced the acceptance of 2.8 million acres into the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) so far in 2021. The positive news will help stem the tide of the 3 million acres also set to expire from contract on September 30^th.
