Mitchell Hockett and his 3-year-old Lab, “Gerald,” celebrated the 36th year of family pheasant hunting near Kimball, South Dakota, a tradition that started with Hockett’s grandfather and is affectionately known as Doc’s Annual Hockett Family Hunt.
