When it comes to bird dogs, the upland lifestyle, and PF's mission, the pairing of Tomas Heidenwirth and his 1-year-old English Setter, CJ, are tough to beat! Heidenwirth is a PF Life Member, chapter secretary, and 17-year board member of the North Butler PF chapter in Butler County, Iowa.

"I've gotten a lot of miles in with this dog during our first full season," said Heidenwirth. "Both CJ and I are excited for the snow and ready to hit the fields hard over the last two weeks of Iowa's pheasant season. Our birds are numerous and looking healthy this year!"
