The fifth and final day of our Rooster Road Trip was the exact scenario we had hoped for from the beginning. Great dog work, tight holding birds, and true shots aren’t a given, but when it happens it’s special. And thanks to our public lands and the hard work of volunteers, landowners, state agencies, and Pheasants Forever members; the opportunity to seek out these special moments are available to everyone. All you have to do is be willing to take a chance, put on some miles, and explore the healthy habitat and amazing public lands ou country has to offer.
