Critical Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program Needs Your Voice for Renewal
Pheasants Forever is requesting your help to renew Wisconsin's Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program. Created by the Wisconsin Legislature in 1989, the primary function of the Stewardship Program is to preserve valuable natural areas and wildlife habitat, protect water quality and fisheries, and expand opportunities for outdoor recreation.
This important program for strenghtening the state's outdoor heritage is set to expire during the next state biennial budget in 2020 if action to renew is not taken immediately.
