With Range Day in the books, we headed onto the show floor today to see what's new and happening in the upland world. With  some focus on key Pheasants Forever partners and a little wandering and discoveing, we brought a seris of videos to Facebook land, so check out the feed there.

The first thing I'll say is, after not being at SHOT for a few years, I was pretty wide-eyed at how absoultely huge the place is now ... and we maybe covered about 25% of it.

The second point I want to make is, it's a pretty warm place interms of now nice everybody is, and how appeciative they are of Pheasants Forever's habitat mission. From sponsors like Irish Setter, Birchwood Casey and Realtree manning their booths, to folks we'd meet along the way and old friendships rekindled, it makes you realize the impact of your organization on the outdoor world.

But to pull out a few highlights from the day, I'd have to make mention of these:

*Meeting with sponsor Realtree's Tyler Jordan and getting the update on EDGE camo, and some news on some cool new upland clothes.

*Getting inspired for camp, tailgate and at-home game bird cooking with Camp Chef.

*Stopping by Caesar Guerini and checking out new Syren shotguns for women with pro staff shooter Chelsea Davis.

*Trying to get Birchwood Casey's Eric Miller to fling a clay target across the show floor.
