Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic Mentor Pledge

Continuing the unique partnership we began this past fall, ALPS OutdoorZ, Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever are again engaging current hunters by challenging them to pledge to preserve our outdoor lifestyle by taking a new or lapsed hunter afield this upcoming year.

This past fall over 320 individuals stepped up as mentors and submitted their stories about spending time outdoors with novice sportsmen and women. We want to thank all those that took part in the challenge, and we’re glad to announce that Kurt Short of Oklahoma was the grand prize winner of a guided South Dakota pheasant hunting experience.

During the show floor hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday at National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic people are encouraged to sign-up for a special Mentor Pledge at the “Path to the Uplands” stage or the ALPS booth #1204. The mission is simple, we want to create responsible new hunter-conservationist or reactivate those that have fallen away from hunting, and we believe the best way to do so is through one-on-one mentoring.

This is where you come in… as a motivation for those who pledge to become hunting mentors, ALPS will be giving away a hunting gear package each day to someone who signs-up. All it takes to win is your commitment to saving our hunting lifestyle. If you don't, who will?
