PF on the Landscape in the Midwest

In the midwestern states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, Pheasants Forever’s conservation efforts are “Built Ford Tough” for a 13th consecutive year thanks to a lasting partnership with the Northland Ford Truck Dealership Group.

Since 2009, more than 250 Ford dealers have supported the upland conservation efforts of The Habitat Organization by providing an F-150 Supercrew XLT pickup to be raffled off by Pheasants Forever. Tickets for the truck are provided to local chapters in portions of each state, with all proceeds benefitting habitat conservation efforts in their local communities.

Pheasants Forever is happy to announce Joanie Branigan of River Falls, Wisconsin, as the most recent winner of the annual raffle that keeps the organization’s conservation engine churning across Midwestern landscapes.

“What an incredible blessing it was to receive the winning phone call from Pheasants Forever headquarters,” said Branigan. “My husband and I have supported Pheasants Forever for the past 33 years, and we’ve been fortunate to witness all the wonderful conservation work that has transpired with our local Kinnikinnic Pheasants Forever Chapter.” Joanie’s husband, Dan Branigan, volunteers for the local chapter with its annual fundraising and youth events.

Joanie’s new truck was delivered with the help of Hudson Ford and owner Mark Swelland, a major supporter of the local chapter’s efforts for many years. The dealership’s commitment to the community and overall vehicle buying experience has made Hudson Ford the number one selling Ford dealership in Wisconsin for the last 5 years.

Thank you to Ford Truck dealers throughout the Midwest for your continued devotion to the conservation of wild things — most notably, ring-necked pheasants, but so much else too — and wild places! Tickets are now available for the 2023 Northland Ford Truck Raffle at banquets in the six-state region.
