Some of the top products at National Pheasant Fest and Quail Classic 2026
By Casey Sill
I arrive at Pheasant Fest every year with absolutely no game plan.
I wander the show floor aimlessly, always slightly lost and semi-confused — like a French Bulldog at a field trial. Then, without fail, I turn a corner and the clouds part. A bright, white light shines down in front of me and I know — I must have this.
With over 400 exhibitors, National Pheasant Fest and Quail Classic is so much more than an upland experience. If you’re interested in the outdoors in pretty much any capacity, there’s something here for you.
And in case you share in my indecisiveness, here’s a primer of a few of the top products to check out on the show floor this weekend.
Gunner Homestead Dog Bed

Gunner has expanded their horizons in a big way the last few years, and brought the quality we’ve all come to expect in their kennels to a growing line of dog-centric products. Chief among them this year is a brand new collaboration between Pheasants Forever and Gunner, the Homestead Dog Bed. They won’t be available to consumers until May, but models are available to check out on the show floor.
The bottom line is.. you don’t sleep on a bed this nice. So stop by booth 935, take a look and spoil your pooch with the best dog bed on the market when it becomes available this spring.
Browning Hunter Series safe

Browning has long-been a leader in the world of gun safes. This year at Pheasant Fest they’ve upped the anty with a brand new, 49-gun version of their Pheasants Forever-branded safe. The Browning Hunter Series Pheasants Forever Upland Edition is available in a number of colors, and has a top of the line storage system with plenty of room for long guns, pistols, ammo and anything else you might want to store away safely.
Gun Dog Grind Rooster Reserve

Lifestyle coffee brands have popped up across a ton of niche industries in recent years. The outdoor world is no stranger to these brands, and Gundog Grind’s Rooster Reserve is now the official coffee of Pheasants Forever. Offered in both pre-ground and full bean options, they also donate a portion of each sale to Pheasants Forever’s habitat mission. And they’re selling hot coffee all weekend in booth 1741. Come for the coffee, stay for the conservation.
ChĂȘne

A newcomer to Pheasant Fest, ChĂȘne sells top-tier waterfowl waders and a slew of other duck and turkey-centric products. Their upland offerings are limited, but their classic waders alone are worth stopping by to take a look at. I’m partial to the solid brown version myself, though they’re also offered in a number of camo options. The price point is high, coming in at $1,100. But as someone who’s torn through a half dozen pairs of lesser waders in the last 10 years, that price tag is looking better and better all the time.
If you’re like me, a waterfowl obsessive who moonlights as an upland hunter, stop by booth 1205 and get your duck hunting fix for the weekend.
Oh, and incase you’re wondering, it’s pronounced “shin,” like the bone.
Retay Ace Upland Ultralight

Retay shotguns is offering a look at a brand new model at this year’s show. The Ace Upland Ultralight is a great option for bird hunters who put in long miles. Available in 12, 20 and 28 gauge, the ultralight lives up to its name. Coming in at 5.3 lbs for the 20 gauge, and 6.3 lbs for the 12, it’s light enough to carry without a workout, but just heavy enough to not beat you to death with recoil. The ultralight will hit the market in late spring, but now’s the perfect time to stop by a take a look. Visit Retay in booth 1234 to check out the ultralight and all of their other shotguns.
