Visit this dynamic seminar stage to become, or become a better, upland bird hunter

By Colby Kerber, Hunting Heritage Program Manager for PF & QF

My deep connection to land and wildlife dates to my early years when I spent countless hours exploring the family farm that I was so deeply rooted in. But none of my childhood memories were spent fishing, hunting or camping with friends and loved ones. To many people, including those closest to me, hunting is a distant concept.

Fortunately, today I am a passionate sportsman because willing outdoor mentors empowered me to be. It all changed one frosty morning on a public Wildlife Management Area, as I was entranced by the sunrise over a spread of duck decoys. The trajectory of my life was forever changed. I am humbled by and thankful for those mentors who encouraged and taught me along the way.

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are committed to saving the outdoor lifestyle by creating more hunters. Why? Because conservation is dependent on The Habitat Mission succeeding. As a national organization with local impact through our volunteer base, we continually strive to provide opportunities for chapter leaders, members and supporters to engage new audiences and impact our mission together. This is where the Path to the Uplands stage comes into play…
