Pheasant habitat in The Midwest “Built Ford Tough” since 2009

In the midwestern states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, Pheasants Forever’s conservation efforts are “Built Ford Tough” for a 14th consecutive year thanks to a lasting partnership with the Northland Ford Truck Dealership Group.

Since 2009, more than 250 Ford dealers have supported the upland conservation efforts of The Habitat Organization by providing an F-150 Supercrew XLT pickup to be raffled off by Pheasants Forever. Tickets for the truck are provided to local chapters in portions of each state, with all proceeds benefiting habitat conservation efforts in their local communities.

Pheasants Forever is happy to announce Lynn Stolz of Norfolk, Nebraska, as the most recent winner of the annual raffle that keeps the organization’s conservation engine churning across Midwestern landscapes.

“It was truly unbelievable to receive the call that I was the winner! My husband and I thought it was a scam at first, but thankfully we figured out it was real after making a few calls,” Stolz said. “We’ve been supporters of Pheasants Forever for many years, and we feel so thrilled, grateful and humbled to have been chosen.”

Lynn’s husband, Richard Stolz, and their son, Dalton, have hunted in the uplands for many years – they are particularly fond of their annual pheasant hunting trips to Chamberlain, South Dakota. The family has been involved with the Elkhorn Valley Chapter of Pheasants Forever, and they are excited to advance their participation moving forward.

The winning raffle ticket, however, was purchased from the BonHomme County Chapter of Pheasants Forever. To make the happy occasion even more special, the ticket was purchased from the Stolz’s nephew, Bryce Hauck, who they have purchased a raffle ticket from every year since he started selling them. Hauck is a member of the BonHomme high school trap shooting team, who sells tickets for the local chapter as a thank you for their support of the team.

Lynn’s new truck was delivered with the help of the Lewis and Clark Ford dealership in Yankton, South Dakota.

Thank you to Ford Truck dealers throughout the Midwest for your continued devotion to the conservation of wild things — most notably, ring-necked pheasants, but so much else too — and wild places! Tickets will be available soon for the 2025 Northland Ford Truck Raffle at Pheasants Forever banquets in the six-state region.
