Pheasants Forever Rooster Road Trip Shotgun Giveaway Rules

These Official Rules (“Rules”) apply to the Pheasants Forever Rooster Road Trip Shotgun Giveaway (“Giveaway”) conducted by Pheasants Forever, Inc., 1783 Buerkle Circle, St. Paul, MN 55110 (“Sponsor”). By entering, you agree to be bound by these Rules. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. SEE ENTRY SECTION FOR DETAILS.

1 PRIZES.

  1. One (1) grand prize for the 26” Browning Citori 625 Field Over & Under Sweepstakes will be awarded and will consist of (1) 26” Browning Citori 625 Field Over & Under shotgun for one (1)winner. Suggested retail price is $2,630.00.
  2. DRAWING/ODDS OF WINNING A SHOTGUN Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The drawing will be held on or about November 23, 2011. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received.
  3. GIVEAWAY PERIOD FOR SHOTGUN Rooster Road Trip Giveaway begins November 14, 2011 at 12:00 a.m. CST and ends November 21, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. CST (“Sweepstakes Period”).
  4. ENTRY There are two (2) methods to enter the Giveaway: (1) Become a Pheasants Forever Member during the Giveaway Period through the Rooster Road Trip MarketPlace membership webpage. (2) Alternate Method of Participation: You are not required to become a Pheasants Forever Member during the Giveaway Period through the Rooster Road Trip MarketPlace membership webpage in order to participate in the Giveaway or win the prize. In order to enter without completing the entry form, please print your full name and complete address with zip code and phone number on a 3 x 5 postcard and mail it in an envelope to: Pheasants Forever, 1783 Buerkle Circle, St. Paul, MN 55110. No copies or mechanical reproductions of 3 x 5 postcards will be accepted. To be eligible, 3 x 5 postcards must be postmarked by November 18th, 2011 and received no later than November 22, 2011. Once submitted, all entry materials become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor and its subsidiaries, agents, affiliates are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, misplaced, garbled, damaged or unintelligible, illegible entries or postage due mail. Any person who attempts to participate under multiple identities or uses any artifice or device to accumulate entries will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found tampering with the Giveaway. LIMIT OF ONE ENTRY PER PERSON UNDER ANY AND ALL ENTRY METHODS.
  5. ELIGIBILITY Giveaway is open only to individuals that reside in and who are physically located in the United States (excluding its territories and possessions, New York, Rhode Island and Florida) and are eighteen (18) years of age or older. The following categories of persons are not eligible to enter or win: employees, agents and officers of Pheasants Forever, Inc., Quail Forever, and their respective parent companies, including its subsidiaries and affiliates or any entity involved in the development, production, implementation and distribution of the Giveaway, including any advertising or promotion agency, supplier of prizes for the Giveaway, parent company, service provider, subsidiary, sales representatives, or affiliate of any such entity or any other entity directly associated with the Giveaway or any member of the immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household (whether related or not) as such individuals. Void where prohibited by law.
  6. MISCELLANEOUS Winners will be notified by US Mail, and will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within fourteen (14) days of notification. Sponsor may select an alternate winner if winner fails respond within timeframe specified or if winner fails to meet all eligibility requirements set forth herein. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Pheasants Forever, Inc., and Quail Forever, their respective parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, and the officers, directors, agents and employees of any of the above entities from any and all liability, loss or damage to person (including death), property or reputation incurred in connection with their participation in the Sweepstakes and/or the receipt, acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize or their participation in any prize related activity. By accepting prize, winner agrees to the Sponsor’s use of his/her name and address (city & state), photograph, videotape or likeness for advertising, trade or publicity purposes and to the use of statements made by or attributed to the winner relating to the Giveaway or Sponsor, and grants to Sponsor any and all rights to said use, in any media throughout the world, in perpetuity without further compensation, review, approval or notice, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its discretion. Sponsor may terminate the Giveaway or any portion thereof or decide to modify it in any manner, which it deems fair and equitable to participants if it becomes aware of any occurrence, which would materially affect the security, fairness or proper play of the Giveaway.
  7. GENERAL CONDITIONS All taxes (including, but not limited to, income taxes and sales tax) are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winners may also be required to send a copy of their passport, driver’s license or birth certificate as proof of age and residency. Non-compliance with any of these requirements may result in disqualification, in which case an alternate winner may be chosen.
