'The Pheasants of our Lives'
You can't help but wonder about the somewhat mischievous look on young Rick Liblong's face holding his pet rooster "Billy" here in 1962. He was joined by his Grannie Emma near Almont, Michigan. Rick, of Dunn Loring, Virginia, writes that "Billie and his mate Tillie would come out of grandpa's chicken coop and play with us just like a dog. Billy is long gone, but the memories will last a lifetime."
If you have story ideas, dog photos, pre-1980 hunting photos and requests for future On The Wing consideration, please send correspondence to ahauck@pheasantsforever.org.
