Glenwood's Gunman
These pictures were taken in 1936 when my Grandfather was 18 years old. Grandpa Cal grew up in Glenwood, Minnesota, and was an excellent shot. He liked a single-shot 16-gauge. My uncles recall Grandpa teaching them how to shoot with a Red Ryder BB gun and ball jar lids. Grandpa would throw the lid in the air and have them try and hit it. Grandpa said when you have one shot you have to make it count!
