Manchester / Coffee County Conference Center, Manchester, TN
Ecology and Management of the Bobwhite Quail, an intensive 3-day workshop, is being offered to landowners truly interested in managing their property for bobwhite quail. - Can I use pen-reared birds to increase the quail population on my property?
- Are supplemental feeding and/or food plots worth the effort and cost?
- Does predator control really increase quail populations?
- Do pesticides and fire ants kill bobwhites?
- What is early-successional habitat?
- How do I plant native warm-season grasses?
- Which herbicides should I use to get rid of undesirable plants?
- How do I calibrate a sprayer or a seed drill?
- What do I need to know in order to burn my fields?
