In the Field: July 2008
Muskies in the Mist
Earlier this summer, Bob St.Pierre, PF/QF's Director of Marketing and Public Relations, went home to his native Upper Peninsula of Michigan where he fished with his father, Bob of the U.P. Bird Hunters Chapter of PF. The trip was filmed for the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership television show "Life in the Open" and will air in the fall of 2009. This picture, snapped by photographer Randy Wimberg, captured quite a scene. "We went musky fishing out of canoes," St.Pierre said, "Our weather went from sunny and 80 to 45 and foggy. It was incredible."
You'll have to tune in next Fall to see how well the fish cooperated with the weather changes.
If you have story ideas, dog photos, pre-1980 hunting photos and requests for future On The Wing consideration, please send correspondence to ahauck@pheasantsforever.org.
