Days Gone By: February 2008

Ryan Anderson sent in these photos of a Tulare, South Dakota, pheasant adventure from the late 1940s. Tulare is located in Spink County in the east-central part of the Pheasant Capital. Photos like these were the norm at the time, with the pheasant harvest in the South Dakota topping 2 million in 1948, 3.5 million in 1946 and 7.5 million in 1945!
