Days Gone By: July 2007

Bootheel Bobwhites
This photo was taken in the 1920's in the Bootheel of Missouri, around Poplar Bluff. As you can tell from the picture, you could string up quite a few quail back in those days. The serious young man on the left is my grandfather, Raymond T. Langley. I don't know who the gentleman on the right of the photo is. I wish I could give you some more information on the picture, but my grandfather died in 1938 at the age of 36 so I never had the chance to meet... or hunt... with him. Thanks for the opportunity to share this photo with PF members!
