David Stengel, right, of Milbank, South Dakota, shared this photo of his late nephew Mark Szymanski taking his first bird in Idaho. Alex Brink celebrates his first rooster taken last October on public land near Montrose, South Dakota, with his father Bryan and friend Todd Nyhus, Sioux Falls. Christos Zympas, 11, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, downed his first rooster last October along with some pretty impressive company -- Jay Lawson, Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) wildlife division chief.
