“Wesson” is Brandon Smith’s 4-year-old German shorthaired pointer. “We live and hunt in southeast Iowa in the small town of West Liberty,” Smith says, “This was a 2014 Thanksgiving morning ‘quick’ 1 1/2 hour hunt near Riverside. The population is making a comeback here in southeast Iowa!”
