“Sierra” is John Blowers’ golden retriever. Blowers, a volunteer with the Lyon County (Minnesota) Chapter of Pheasants Forever, was the recent recipient of a dedication award as a chapter member who has provided a great service to his community. Blowers and Sierra hunt around Marshall, Minnesota, where his Pheasants Forever chapter is a big reason there are 40,000 acres of public land habitat within 30 miles of town.
