“Gauge,” Pheasants Forever member Matt Breuer’s German shorthaired pointer, passed away in the autumn of 2014, but not before a hunt for northwest Minnesota sharp-tailed grouse that will be featured on the television show The Flush presented by Federal Premium Ammunition and Pheasants Forever – the episode will air in 2015 on Outdoor Channel. Breuer also volunteers with the Minnesota Sharp-Tailed Grouse Society, a group which has partnered with Pheasants Forever on multiple upland habitat conservation projects.
