Pheasants Forever member Jeff Larsen from Omaha, Neb., is a Vizsla guy through-and-through. “I've been a Vizsla guy for all of my adult life, and although they are quite common now, I still run into many who have not heard of the ‘Hungarian shorthair pointer,’” Larsen says. His 10-year-old Vizsla, “Gabbi,” is his current field partner. “She is slowing down at about the same rate I am, a match made in heaven,” Larsen says, “She's a very loving dog who trained like a dream as a pup. She can flip the switch from companion and protector to hunting machine like no other I've owned.”
