Meet Montana PF member Ben Ballew's 1-year-old golden retriever, "Fred." Ballew reports that despite not having a strong hunting background, Fred is showing promise thanks to the pair's training efforts. The Ballew family is new to pheasant hunting, but Ben already has another puppy coming in March and is getting ready for his son's, Coby (7) and Cooper (9) to join in the new family pastime. Cooper will get to hunt with Fred for the first time next fall.
