Eleven-year-old “Charoli” has enjoyed a lifetime in the uplands and wetlands of South Dakota. “She was my first dog, and even though she spends most of her hours in the house now, she’s always got a place in my heart,” says Brian Pauly, a private lands habitat biologist for South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks.
